Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Airport is an international airport of Pune, renamed by the Maharashtra government on Sep 24, 2024. The Airport is located in Lohegaon, Pune, Maharashtra, India. The International Airport is located just 11.1 km away from the Mahindra Ivylush Apartment project and can be traveled within 32 minutes.

Sant Tukaram was a saint born in 1608 and a great poet of Maharashtra, closely associated with the Bhakti Movement. The Bhakti movement was started in the 7th to 8th century with the aim of finding the best way to reach God through love and worship. The saint Takuram is known for his poems or Abhangas related to lord Srikrishna. He is the one who held community gatherings that addressed social inequalities and served the entire society with equality. Jagatguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Mandir also exists in Dehu, Pune, listed under the famous temple Temples of Pune.

Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj Airport, the 8th busiest Airport in India, was established in the year 1939 as a Royal Air Force by the British. The aim is to provide air security to Mumbai. The Airport was declared a customs airport on Jan 17, 1997. This Airport spans over 42.45 acres with 2 terminals, which handles both domestic and international flights. The Airport has a huge runway of 2,450 metres, with 2200m x 23m parallel Taxiway.

At Pune International Airport, Terminal 1 is the only integrated terminal handling airport traffic, which is built up in 19,500 sq m. This terminal is capable of handling a large number of passengers both for arrival and departure. It also has 2 aero bridges, with 26 check-in counters.

A second terminal of Pune International Airport is coming for operations from July 24, 2024. This terminal is developed in the eastern part of the Pune International Airport, with a 52000 sm area. The terminal has a capacity of 9 million passengers yearly. Terminal 2 encompasses 5 aero bridges, 34 Chen in counters, and five baggage carousels.
